3.7 を再度インストール。
すでに 3.7 が入っているが、それでもインストールする？
と聞かれるがそのままインストール。
変わらない
その上に 3.8 を入れてみる。
やっぱりだめ。

TTSのデータは C:\ProgramData\Tacx\TrainerSoftware にあるので、とりあえずバックアップする
また、ライセンス情報のエクスポート？とバックアップをしておいた。

アンインストールを実行。再起動。
ためしに 3.6 のアップデータを使ってみるが、 「前のバージョンが入っていない！」 といわれて、当然使えない。
CDからインストールを実行

USB ant スティックのデバイスドライバはアンインストールしなかったので、インストールをスキップ
TTSを起動してみる。
ライセンス情報を入力することもなく、普通に起動した。
NEWSには TTS3.6 アップデートの記事(2011-11-19)が表示されている。
やっぱり3.6以降で大幅な変更があったのだろう...

Catalyst を見てみると、トレーニングの記録が残っている
RLVのトレーニング記録も見られた...インストールされたVideoの情報はなくなっているので、再インストールが必要のようだ。

とりあえずアカウントを設定するために、download user をする。
無事にアカウントは認識された。

アップデートするために 3.6.0 のアップデータを起動

順番にやれってことですか？
毎回 TTSからダウンロードするのは面倒なので、直接ダウンロードしてみる。

パッチのアップデートは比較的順調に行く。
3.5まで入れたところで、確認のためにTTSを起動
とりあえず無事に起動した。
さて、これからどうしよう...

Bushido で BlackTrack が使えるようになる TTS 3.8 がリリースされた。
今回のアップデートは Genius と BlackTrack への対応が主なもののようだ。

まぁともかく 3.7にアップデートしてみよう。
ダウンロードはハングしているのではないかと思うくらい、やたら時間がかかった。
おそらく40分以上かかったと思う。

ようやくダウンロードが終わり、アップデートが完了。

起動してログインすると、インフォメーション画面に上のようなメッセージが...
やばいかも....
ログインもできていないようだ...

これも動かない...
最悪だ
さぁ、一体どうしよう。

Tacx Trainer Software 4.0 : T1990.04

やはり TTS 4.0 がリリースされた模様だ。

今回のリリースは、VR関係のアップデートが中心だ。
TTS3 のVRの映像はちょっと寂しくて、wii や playstation の映像を見慣れている研究員 Tk や 研究員 Y などには評判が悪かった。
TTS4の映像は美しくなり、最新ゲーム機に劣らない映像になっている。

TTSはゲーム機ではないので、VR以外の機能についての変更点も気になるのだが、特に目立った変更はないようだ。
そういう意味では、TTS4 にする理由が見出せないユーザーもたくさんいると思われる。
少し心配なのは、基本機能のバグフィクスなどが TTS 3.X において今後も行われるのかどうかということだ。
もしそうでないとすると、VRに興味が無くても、TTS4 にする必要が出てくるかもしれない。

TTS3 -> TTS4 へのアップグレードパスが用意されるのかどうかは不明だ。

TTS4.0が出るのか？

久しぶりにスプラッシュスクリーンが変わった。

Intro画面のソフトウェアバージョンの下に、Update と表示されて点滅している。
ようやくアップデータの準備ができたらしい。
software ボタンをクリックすると、バージョンの情報とともに Download ボタンが表示された。

アップデートしたら、ニュースの表示が変わった。
今までの黒字の表示から、紙面のような表示に変わって読みやすくなったかも。
普通に選択もできるのがありがたい。
また、今まで表示されていなかった Tacx Workshop, Software News も中身が表示されるようになった。

ただ、単に画面を切り替えているだけで、2度ほど落ちることがあった。
ちょっと安定性が心配...

TTS が 3.6 にアップデートされた
内容的には次のような感じ
・(またもや) bushido との接続が改善されたらしい...
・スペイン語とイタリア語が追加された。
・後は、マルチプレイヤー関連の変更
日本で発売されていないので、日本語が追加される可能性は今のところゼロだろう。
またマルチプレイヤー関連については、ライセンスを持っていないので良くわからない
早速アップデート、と思ったが、今までと違ってアップデートボタンがどこにもない？

あちらこちらの画面を探すが、どこにもアップデートできるボタンやメニューがない
あきらめて、スタートメニューから Tacx Updater を実行する
ところが No updates available. となるではないか...
どうやらまだリリースノートだけで、アップデータが準備されていないようだ。
前にもこんな事があったが...

TTS3.5 update が出た。
bushido との接続が改良されたらしいので、早速アップデート。
スプラッシュスクリーンの変更はなし

最初にPCの情報やどのようにTTSを使っているかという情報を、収集して良いかどうか聞かれる
製品をより良くするためで、個人を特定する情報は含まれないということなので、Yesとしておこう。

一見して、トップ画面が変わっているのが分かる。
Newsはタブで3種類に分けて表示されるようになった。
News by Tacx / Tacx workshop / Software news
とはいえ、News by Tacx 以外のタブにはまだニュースがないようだ
今後の配信でタグを分けるのだろう。

画面の右端にコントローラやbushidoの状態が表示されるようになった。
以前より見やすくなったかも
今まではユーザ情報が表示されていた部分だが、個人情報が常に画面に出ているのはちょっといやな感じがしたので、これは改善と言えるだろう。

Import や Export も改良されたようだが、特に気がつかなかった。
